BEGINNING TANGOS


Upper Body CHALLENGE
with Rina Orellana & Online Flamenco Studio


This video shows the basic technique for arms, hands and upper body and is suitable for new beginners.

**New Beginners should follow the video as is!
**More experienced dancers can follow the video and then choose another piece of music to practice with.


  • Music used: Tangos Solo Compas @ 120 bpm
  • Try this for bonus: Tangos Solo Compas with Guitar @ 144 bpm or Tangos de Pepico by Estrella Morente

  • TIPS: Keep your abs engaged, bend the knees slightly, elbows back, shoulders down. Oh and smile ;)


    PRACTICE. Use solo compás to practice- the slower the better!
    RECORD. Video a short snippet of your practice with solo compás.
    POST.  Upload the video to the Online Flamenco Studio FREE Community Group. You'll inspire others to practice and get tons of "jaleos" from the others!!! If you're not ready to record a video, then at least come visit and share your progress!!
