¡OLE! Moving Along!
You've been dancing for a while. You have a firm grasp of the compás and have some technique under your belt.
Here are four INTERMEDIATE flows for you to follow.
There are some overlaps with the Beginner flow, but now you can work in strength and speed in your footwork; gain more coordination and fluidity in your upper body.
- MARKING. Focus on keeping those abs engaged and using that ribcage to gain mobility. Also, you can now start coordinating your hands to the compás.
- FOOTWORK. Get the feet solid in slow compás before going faster. Wait till you have the muscle memory in your feet before adding the arms.
- CHOREOGRAPHY. There's some tough choreography in this section. If it's difficult at first, then study one compás at a time, working on feet first then working your way up the body.
- PROPS. If you've been practicing already, you're ready to add to your technique repertoire.
