Has Flamenco grabbed your SOUL?

Yes? Then IMAGINE dancing like this...
MEET YOUR MAESTRA
Hola, I'm Rina Orellana.
I've been dancing flamenco for over 25 years — trained in Madrid, based in Los Angeles, teaching dancers from beginners to tablao-ready performers for over 20 years.
Flamenco is a language. My job is to make you fluent in it — not just able to recite steps, but to have it in your bones and express it fully through your dance.
I've watched dancers study for years, take workshops with top teachers from Spain, learn dozens of choreographies — and still not know where they are in a dance. Not because they lacked talent. Because nobody ever gave them the foundation. My method doesn't let you skip it.
Since 2015, thousands of dancers worldwide have found their flamenco with me. I'd love for you to be next.
❤️ Rina

MEET THE METHOD
Many dancers think they need more choreography. More steps, more palos, more workshops, more material.
¡Qué no! That's not it. The dancers who truly light up a room aren't the ones with the most choreographies — they're the ones who understand what they're dancing, so that they can truly express themselves.
They're not regurgitating material, they're actually DANCING with knowledge, intention & expression.
That's what the RINA ORELLANA FLAMENCO METHOD is built for, whether it's your first step or your gazillionth!
✨ Compás — always, endlessly, first.
Compás is the heartbeat of flamenco. Everything — every step, every gesture, every moment of stillness — lives inside the rhythm, the beat. No matter what level you're at, no matter what palo we're working in, compás is the ground we stand on. We start here and we always come back.

✨ Speak Flamenco
I want you to understand what you're actually dancing — not just imitate steps. There's a profound difference between a dancer who has memorized a choreography and one who knows the flow of a dance, understands the structure of the letras, and knows where the remates, caídas and llamadas land — and why. When you can speak the language, you stop copying and start dancing with understanding, authority and expression.
✨ KISS Flamenco — Keep It Strong & Simple
I've watched dancers chase complicated material from Spain — intricate footwork, flashy technique — and it looks like a mess because the foundation isn't there. Simplicity is not boring. Simplicity is where the real expression lives. When compás is in your body and technique is clean and strong, that's where arte and aire appear. That's where you stop performing steps and start dancing.

✨ Cultivate Courage
Everyone wants to feel confident — expressive, passionate, fully alive in the dance. And they think they need to be perfect immediately in order to feel confident. Um, no. They don't. Confidence is the reward and courage is the work in progress. It takes courage to make mistakes, to start something new as an adult, to stand up and be seen especially when you're still figuring it out.
When compás is in your body, you speak the language, the technique is strong and simple, and every step is an act of courage — that's when full expression appears.
That's when you stop just "dancing flamenco" and *become* a flamenco dancer.

Speak it. Feel it. Dance it.

¿Lista? ¡Vamos! Let's go. ❤️
This is for the dancer who is IN it- whether you're just starting or have been dancing for years!
Flamenco isn't just something you do — it's something you can't not do. It calls you back no matter how long you've been away. It lives in you even when you're not dancing. You can't pick up and move to Sevilla (though you wish you could) — but you show up anyway. You practice anyway. You keep coming back because flamenco is in your soul and you know it always will be.
Whether you want to start or you've been dancing for months or even decades, if flamenco has its hooks in you and you're ready to go deeper — to really understand what you're dancing, to feel the compás in your bones, to stop copying and start speaking — you're in the right place.
¡Bienvenida! ❤️

Yes — if you're ready to show up for it. OFS has a full New Beginners Area with a clear path: start with First 21 Days of Flamenco and go from there. Everything is organized and waiting for you. But I want to be honest — flamenco is a language and learning it takes consistency. If you're all in, we will meet you exactly where you are and walk with you every step of the way at your own pace.
The video lessons are streamed (not downloadable), so a good internet connection is needed. You can watch on any device with internet access: mobile, laptop, tablet, laptop, etc.
If you're a beginner, just wear comfortable clothes. No special equipment needed. But if you choose to progress in flamenco, then you'll need a good pair of flamenco shoes and a place to dance with a little dance floor.
Easy! If you're new to flamenco, start with First 21 Days of Flamenco in the New Beginners Area — your path is clear from day one. If you're an experienced dancer, jump into the current monthly Challenge or Workout Plan and go from there. And of course — the whole library is yours to explore whenever the mood strikes. There's always something waiting for you.
Absolutely — and this might surprise you. The most valuable work for experienced dancers isn't more choreography. It's finally understanding the structure behind what you've already been dancing. The Flamenco Theory lectures break down each palo in depth — the letras, the flow, the nuances of the compás — so you stop executing steps and start truly speaking the language. Plus the KISS Flamenco approach has a way of stripping things back and making even experienced dancers look and feel más flamenca. Come see for yourself.
YES, YES and YES! I've taught THOUSANDS of dancers from all over the world. Making the complicated world of flamenco easy to understand is my super power. My goal is focusing on teaching you HOW to learn flamenco. It's all about getting the compás (rhythm) in your muscle memory, taking one piece at a time, and truly understanding the structure of the dance. But more importantly, for you, the dancer, you must be consistent in your efforts to see any results. But that's ok because I've got your back!!
Flamenco has been calling you. You already know that. Come dance with us
