¡Hola! I’m a Madrid-trained flamenco dancer with over 25 years of experience and the director of my own academy in Los Angeles for more than two decades. Through my Online Flamenco Studio, I’ve helped dancers around the world — everyone from enthusiastic beginners to seasoned performers -- to dance flamenco with authenticity, understanding & passion.



FAQ's
You'll need a good pair of flamenco shoes and a dance floor. The dance floor can be something as simple as an inch think piece of plywood from the home improvement store covered with a coat of clear polyurethane!
Yes—just go slowly and listen to your body. The drills include clear technique so you can protect your knees and work safely. Over time, these exercises will help you strengthen your legs and gain stability in your footwork.
YES! This course is adaptable for beginners through advanced levels, but NOT for brand new beginners.
Ways to simplify: stick with the slower versions and work your way up to the more complex techniques.
Ways to make it more challenging: always focus on clean accents, adding palmas, going faster.
Flamenco footwork is only ONE part of this wonderful art form. Ideally, if you're truly studying and training in this dance, you'll practice a few times per week and you can use these drills as part of your warm up or ways to build your technique.
